• Fees are payable in local currency only, with the exception of Home Office Fees (see below) and are subject to periodic review. They are set in sterling and therefore subject to change with currency fluctuations.
• They are charged to cover the cost of processing an application.
• If an application is refused, the fee is not refundable.
• Payment is only accepted in USD.
• Home Office fees may be paid in pound sterling (cash in notes only)

Please note that the Consular Section is not able to give change.   Ensure that you have the correct amount due.  Note that the Consular Section will soon only be accepting cash payments for Passport and Consular fees.  Please ensure that you obtain a receipt for all payments made.

The British Embassy is pleased to advise that we have  moved to our new premises.  We also wish to advise British Nationals that due to changes in the process for issuing British  passports, processing times are now likely to take 4 weeks.  We advise all British Nationals to ensure they apply to have their passports renewed while they have at least three pages or two months validity remaining.
