Due to changes in the production of British passports, all passport applications are now submitted at the British Embassy in Harare and sent to the British High Commission in Pretoria for processing.  It now takes about 20 working days to receive your passport from the date of application

To renew a British passport you need to submit the following documents:

C1/C2 application form duly completed

2 colour photos

The old / current passport

Passport fee

Fees are payable only in US dollars on submission of your application at the Embassy.  Our fees fluctuate so you are advised to phone the Consular Section or check our website for the current fees before submission.

You can submit your application via SWIFT, FedEx or DHL with a pre-paid waybill for the return.  Passports are normally issued within 20 working days.
