Passport fees
If you are applying for a passport, you need to pay the correct fee in US Dollars.
Passport fees are charged for the service of receiving and considering passport applications. The fee is not refundable if the application is unsuccessful or withdrawn.
Please note that the Consular Section is not able to give change. Ensure that you have the exact amount due. Note that the Consular Section is only accepting US Dollars cash payments for Passport and Consular fees. Please ensure that you obtain a receipt for all payments made.
The British Embassy is pleased to advise that we have moved to our new premises from 1 April 2009.
We also wish to advise British Nationals that due to changes in the production of British passports, all passport applications are now submitted at the British Embassy in Harare and sent to the British High Commission in Pretoria for processing. It now takes about 20 working days to receive your passport from the date of application. We advise all British Nationals to ensure that they apply to have their passports renewed while they still have at least three pages or two months validity remaining

- 48-page 'jumbo' passport 15 - USD 257
- Emergency passport 16 - USD 117
